PIZZA BAGUETTES

These are a really quick and speedy way to make pizzas, great for those days when its go go go go go!



300ml passata

1tbsp tomato ketchup

1 garlic clove, crushed

3 small part-baked baguettes

Selection of toppings: ham, parma ham, salami, tuna, olives, sliced red and yellow peppers, sliced mushrooms, sliced cherry tomatoes, sweetcorn, mozzarella, grated parmesan or pesto


Place the passata, ketchup and crushed garlic in a small pan, bring to the boil then reduce the heat to a slow simmer and leave to cook, stirring occasionally for 10min, then set aside.

Halve each baguette lengthways, place on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and cook at 200◦C for 10min to crispen up. While they are still warm spread with the cooked passata.

Then add different toppings to create varying combinations.

Put the pizzas on the baking tray and bake for 6-8 min, until the cheese is melted and golden.
