PIZZA BAGUETTES

These are a really quick and speedy way to make pizzas, great for those days when its go go go go go!

Ingredients:

300ml passata

1tbsp tomato ketchup

1 garlic clove, crushed

3 small part-baked baguettes

Selection of toppings: ham, parma ham, salami, tuna, olives, sliced red and yellow peppers, sliced mushrooms, sliced cherry tomatoes, sweetcorn, mozzarella, grated parmesan or pesto


  • Place the passata, ketchup and crushed garlic in a small pan, bring to the boil then reduce the heat to a slow simmer and leave to cook, stirring occasionally for 10min, then set aside.

  • Halve each baguette lengthways, place on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and cook at 200◦C for 10min to crispen up. While they are still warm spread with the cooked passata.

  • Then add different toppings to create varying combinations.

  • Put the pizzas on the baking tray and bake for 6-8 min, until the cheese is melted and golden.
