Ready: In 5 mins
I call it breakfast muesli but in fact I eat it anytime in the day. Serve with seasonal fruits and your favourite yoghurt or milk. Also please remember this is just how I like my muesli, feel free to change the proportions, mix etc
225g jumbo rolled oats
100g each sesame, sunflower and pumpkin seeds
100g dried cranberries
175g dried ready-to-eat apricots, chopped
100g coconut flakes or desiccated coconut
200g mixed nuts almonds, pecans and cashews, toasted
Combine all the ingredients except the nuts and store in an airtight container.
I keep the nuts in a separate container to be added later, as this keeps them fresh and crisp, combined in the museli they go soft and as I have been amazed to find out not everyone likes nuts!
