TOFFEE MARSHMALLOW CRISPY SQUARES


Makes about 20 squares

Sprinkle with edible glitter or give your squares a good squirt of edible glitter spray to give them a festive hit!

50g butter

200g large marshmallows

150g soft toffees

180g rice crispies

50g mini marshmallows

edible glitter, glitter spray and sprinkles


Place the butter in a large, heavy-based pan and melt over a low heat. Add the large marshmallows and toffees and cook, stirring until they are completely melted and combined.


Place the rice crispies in a large bowl, pour over the marshmallow/toffee mixture and working quickly stir well to combine. Scatter over the mini marshmallows and give a final quick stir before spooning into a greased 20x20cm tin. Press the top down with damp fingers ( to avoid getting very sticky). Scatter over the sprinkles, edible glitter etc.

Leave to cool completely, then cut into squares and store in an airtight container.
